Mike Wangolo is the founder/director of Thrust Ministries International and the pastor of Afri-Tendo. Pastor Mike has been in ministry for 17 years and received his ordination from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. He has ministered in Africa, Europe and the United States. For many years Uganda suffered under the ruthless dictatorship of Idi Amin; it was during this period of war, persecution and great hardship that Pastor Mike gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. In 1986 he began doing evangelistic preaching and then a team of young Gospel workers and musicians merged with Thrust Ministries International to become the musical evangelism group Afri-Tendo. His confident vision is that believers from many cultures will rise up with him in reaching his fellow Africans, and the world, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Please feel free to email Mike. |
